Frequently Asked Questions

So you found a class you want to take, and you're interested in signing up, but you still have a few questions. Below are our most common questions and answers about registering in classes.

Can I sit in the classroom to watch my child or sit in the lobby while my child is in class?

Our lobby is open and you can watch your student on our lobby TV. We do not allow parents inside the classroom as it is a distraction to all students and our space is already tight as it is.

Does my child have to wear a mask while in class?

As of June 15th, masks are no longer required.

What protocols are in place to help prevent the spread of Covid-19?

We clean our studio before and after classes every day. We wipe down the bars with sanitizing wipes before and after every class. We clean the floor as often as possible. Any frequently touched surfaces are also wiped down at the beginning and end of every class. We ask the students to use hand sanitizer before and after every class.

Can we try a class out first?

Yes, we offer trial classes free of charge.

What happens if we miss a class?

If you miss a class, don’t worry. We offer makeup classes up to six weeks after a missed class. Simply ask the front desk to help you schedule a make-up class. Make-ups are also available for classes missed when the studio is closed for holidays.

When can I enroll?

Enrollment is always open. Just check out our list of open classes or call us at 909.359.2972 to find one that you'd like to take. Please note that during preparation for performances, some classes will we temporarily closed for enrollment. We have classes that do not perform, however, that remain open regardless of seasonal performances.

What type of shoes will my child need?

For Kinder-Theater the students will need both tap and ballet shoes. For Ballet class they need ballet shoes. For Tap class they need tap shoes. For Jazz class they need jazz shoes. For Hip Hop they need jazz shoes or street shoes which are designated ONLY for class. For Musical Theater they need jazz shoes. We do have loaner shoes at the studio in case your child forgets theirs or you are unable to buy them right away. We also sell the smaller sizes of tap and ballet shoes.

Do you offer gymnastics too?

Sorry, no. Nothing against gymnastics, we just don't have the facilities to conduct gymnastics classes. We do, however, offer an Intro to Dance Acrobatics class which incorporates some gymnastics movements into dance routines. Sadly, dance is not recognized as an Olympic sport (It really should be. If figure skating is, then why not dance?), but we think it's still pretty great.

How old do you have to be to take classes?

We start our regular classes at age six. For children between the ages of 3-6 we offer our Kinder-Theater classes. However, we offer a program for younger dancers called Kinder-Theater that starts at age three. Our class age ranges are as follows:
